Thanks for comments.... The forum, was never ment to be approval only, it was accidentally for new users for around a month or so due to upgrading forum, once this was realised, it was revoked back to original setting, like I say an accident due to forum upgrades. Forum has been and always will be open to all for posts. If you come across this kind of thing in future, why not let us know next time, accidents happen. I would just like to support all members here by stating they do a great job of answering peoples questions when I am not around, they are a great bunch and work hard with me to support the community now 500+ strong. Thanks guys. Smiffy

It's a nice CMS and basicly works so far. I easily adapted my themes to razorCMS too. It's all ok as long you don't need support. Cause of the forum rules all postings have to be approved. If you have the time to wait a week until one of the admins approves your posting give it a go. Sorry, i know it's free but you can't get help from the community if your postings are stuck in the queue :-( I was using it for two projects for about a year. For one project i switched the cms, one still runs under razor.

Played with it for some time. I like its simplicity and the accompanying flexibility. Seems to be a good package for small to medium web sites, which using Joomla or alike would be an overkill. Documentation and support are good enough. It is a package that with a little HTML, PHP and CSS background, you can really use it to create a web site in whatever way you like.
If it can support switching of language (i.e. support multilanguage), it would be even better for me. Anyway, still good enough as is now and I believe I would use it a lot.

For me the best CMS yet. No MYSQL is needed, the CMS itself is really simple and easy to use. The Blade Packs Plugin system fullfills the needs of the professional user.

Really good and the number of blade packs are growing and growing.

The natural successor to NanoCMS (which has since disappeared). Good support from their forums.

This is the best flat-file CMS around at the moment.

Thanks for your comments, yes lots should be happening, we are planning a milestone release v1.0 at some point in the year, this will help to create a stable anchor and a basis for looking forward to the future.

There is still some features to add before this can happen, so lots to do, it's going to be quite exciting to see a milestone release.

In addition to this there is quite a few more add-ons popping up, themes, and support is improving with an ever growing member list, hopefully we can keep this up and continue to improve.

Hi, Please read the text above, you will clearly see the following 'Some admin features may have been disabled for security reasons.' The implementation they have created of razorcms is a demo version on there testign servers, NOT a full working version of razorcms. They have disabled certain parts to stop hackers being able to uplaod anything nasty to their servers (as they give out the admin user and password). The system works completely fine, we cannot assume the system will work completely in a shut down environment, like other systems here on opensource, try installing it to a server yourself and you will see it works well. smiffy

@Tester: Guess you didnt tell the system where you want to have the new page. It is a bit unusual in razorCMS that you can decide where to put your page - normal content, side, footer etc. But there could be a check not to forget this, Ill leave a message in the support forum. Smiffy is very active ... Just mention another thing: Building own themes is pretty easy (especially in comparison to wordpress), and even with minimal css you can get nice results

Tried to add a page at the test installation here, no error messages or anything. Page never showed up... Too bad, seems really nice otherwise. (Yes I know I probably did somthing wrong but when I'm admin and go to a menu that says 'add page' and it doesent I'm out.)

Efficient - Small - lightning fast - Flexible I tested and installed a couple of systems. RazorsharpCMS was outstanding, as it is easy to use, but also very flexible and can be quickly adopted to various themes. It is a true CMS (less a blog), so very good to build structured sites. The support is very quick. My system takes only 300 KB (including a WYSIWYG Editor !), and it is reacting much faster than the other ones I installed.
