Ok, we added a Reviews section for all you critics out there who have
played around with the CMS and have a contructive opinion to share.

CMS that you tried. Please stick to the facts and evaluate each on its
own merits. We...

I'm going to let off a little steam now... you can ignore this post if you wish. How hard is it to write understandable installation instructions? Some
of these systems have the most awful instructions. I don't know how
anyone (other than the authors) get some of these systems installed....

One of the Holy Grails of the entire computer industry (if not the
whole world) is "Easy to Use." After all, the converse "Difficult to
Use" is a selling point only to the most dedicated DOS and *nix users,
who take that as a badge of pride. In the context of a CMS, "Easy...

Sure, we're all impressed by clever code. Personally, I'm even more impressed when I can follow what the code is doing, and where I need to go to make changes. I've just spent four hours trying to change one link. Just to make sure you don't miss that - FOUR HOURS = ONE LINK. ...

Hear hear on the member access concept. None of the so-called Portals
featured on this site are anything close to resembling an actual portal
but are only just glorified weblogs; just weblogs with multiple
sections and comments and that's supposedly a portal. Not. Ever used GroupIT?
It is n...

I have been so busy the last couple of months that OpenSourceCMS has
suffered, and for that I apologize. I am recruiting a couple of people
to help out with the site and we are going to do a much better job at
keeping all the installs up-to-date and we ARE going to add more demo's.
Don't forget ...

We've added several new systems including DCP-Portal, PHPX, and
vportal. We've also updated every system here. As this site grows it
becomes quite an ordeal to keep everything constantly up-to-date. We do
our best, but will try to do even better in the future.
We hope to add more e-commerce and...

TikiWiki must be a new popular CMS because I'm getting a lot of
requests for it. It will go up this weekend. A new project management
system called phpcollab will go up also (I'm testing it right now).
I know the login to YaBBSE is broken and I'm going to try and get that
