My favorit CMS for small Internet-sites. The true WYSIWYG makes it possiible, that even "normal" users can maintain the content by their own.

I just did quite a bit of search for easy to use, easy to maintain and fast CMS and gpEasy appears to be the best. I tried Get Simple CMS and it simply did not compare in usability (both at web browser level and internal management).

Practical, easy to extend, reliable. I have designed web sites for various purposes and used many scripts - ranging from such complicated ones as Newscoop, e107, Wordpress and Moodle to such simple ones as LightNEasy. gpEasy is "simply" the best among so many "lite" CMS scripts I have used so far. I strongly recommend this script (visit www.dildersleri.gen.tr to see it in action).

An amazing mini CMS... use it if you want to quickly set-up a decent site (especially on free domain hosting sites with no data base support). You really don't need the mysql etc luxuries to have a decent web presence... (I wish there were more themes and tricks available jquery etc)
GREAT WORK, thank you guys!

I just wanted to point this out. I'm stunned. gpEasy rocks!
After months of testing different small CMS and just 2 days after starting with gpEasy my impression solely is: THIS ONE IS SECOND TO NONE IN IT'S CLASS!
The in-page editing ist intuitive and straight-forward and well suited for non-techy minds.
Almost all you need to manage a small website ist here and it's just the expected one or two clicks away. Great - 5 Stars!

Hmm... gpEasy reminds me a little of what Zimplit originally promised it would be, but without the part where its makers offer to let people run it on their own server, but, in actuality, kinda' not really wanting that so much after all...

...and so, then, without all of the nuttiness that you'd expect from a situation like that.

Zimplit's downloadable, run-on-your-own-server version is encoded with stuff which one has to change remove in order to stop it from "phoning home" to Zimplit's servers; and it's poorly documented, etc.

Don't get me wrong, Ziplit's nice. But, in the end, it's kinda' almost best run from Zimplit's servers, the way Zimplit's maker seems to prefer things.

gpEasy's maker, though, seems -- and I'd have to actually install epEasy and see if I'm correct about this, but its maker at least SEEMS -- to be more far more straightforward, up-front and helpful, just generally.

Interesting. If one needed a very light-weight product of this type, one, it at least SEEMS, would be well-advised to give this one a try.

gpEasy 2.1 has taken a major step for users. The new inline true wysiwyg editing is a big plus--now you see exactly how the page will look while editing. Not to mention the new page sections which make adding galleries, gadgets, other pages, etc., right into a page very easy to do.

gpEasy has become a very full featured CMS while remaining very easy to use. A+

Superb lightweight WCM. Surprisinglying powerful for a light, no-database WCM.

It manages multiple levels of navigation in a nested manner. It can also handle different menu structures in the same site, which is unique in this sector of the market.

The in-line editing for editors is excellent and intuitive to use. It also manages plug-ins and image galleries. It also has a content repository for managing files and images.

There are plug-ins for blogs, etc, although there is scope to develop more advance plug-ins in the future.

It is easy to control permissions for different users, which is very unusual but very helpful for a small business or local organisation where multiple people may need to update the site but may have limited technical skills.

There are a number of themes/templates to use but it is not difficult for a more technical person to adapt a theme or template to create a bespoke page design. Or create a new theme.

Installation is quick and easy to perform.

Overall, this is an excellent WCMS for a small business or organisation. It is particularly good for organisations with several updaters or users looking for a site with more than 1 level of navigation. The user interface is very slick and professional easy to use. It has many features that are not usually found in this sector of the WCM market but it has been scaled down very intelligently for small websites.

This is perfect! I've been searching for MONTH for a cms suitable for my mom, and now she's happily adding text and pictures to her page, and can even change the menu structure herself.
And on top of that, I had no problem crating a complete new template, it's so easy!

Excellent CMS which matches its description. i.e. EASY, perfectly. I recently set it up as starter system for an inexperienced client and was delighted with the progress, as was the client. I would have no hesitation to highly recommend gpEasy.
