Wow! I am impressed! I'm on this One.com provider and it has limitations, so I can't run heavy CMS's like Joomla. So I started browsing through the CMS's available to find one that was compatible with my provider.

For this eoCMS the installation is probably the most smooth, fast and easy I have encountered. +1 point there.
Getting used to the interface is easy. +1 point there.
It's FAST!!! +1 there.
And with the default template you get a little feature at the bottom of the screen that tells you the load-time and number of SQL queries. +1 there.

Since this is a new project, it is too early to give thumbs down on anything. Look at the positive progress made already. They seem to make sure that things are bug-free BEFORE publishing them!!! They are active and they are good at what they do. They have a positive path of development and that is what should be valued. This could easily turn out to become better than Joomla, etc., and still be compatible with low-configured providers like one.com. I have my fingers crossed for this one and wish them all the best of luck. I'm excited(does it show?) and I'm gonna stick around this one.

Watch for the next release. It promises many feature improvements and changes, and fixes for some past issues. One thing I love about eoCMS is that the 'devs' are always looking to fix as many bugs as possible with every new release.

The next release is going to be huge, in terms of feature changes and additions, and bug fixes (to my understanding). That's why they're taking so long.

This is truly the best CMS for me.
I mean, I really need one as simple as this, I can just modify and fix it JUST like I want it!
It's so easy YAY LOVE IT!

Recommended for people who wants to design or add things by their own :D (like me)

@sorry - Validation does not mean it looks the same in all browsers. Even Google is not valid HTML wise so what you just said shows you dont really know what you are talking about :P. The next release, most of the pages are valid and there is a new menu system so admin's can choose what the admin panel looks like.
sorry

but the layout and admin really looks ugly. there is no reason to take a look on the code - it cannot be good if the developer does not care about the simplest thing - validation.

Great CMS for the stage that it's at. Like Arwym said, remember that this is still a work in progress.

That being said, so far this CMS has everything that I would look for in a CMS and so much potential to be great. Overall I would rate this CMS a 4 out of 5.

First of all, people: remember to consider that this is still in early development stages when you give ratings and reviews. Give the developers a chance.

Now:

It's a CMS with a lot of potential.

My only complaints are with the layouts (many inconsistencies), and lack of indentation in the script. It's a little too messy. The layouts have improved a lot since the last stable release, though, so kudos for the developers! :D

Keep it up, guys!
